Analysis of Potential Demand from Undeveloped Properties

Analysis of Potential Demand from Undeveloped Properties – January 15, 2019 – This report estimates the potential increase in demand for water within the NSSWD that would result if each undeveloped property entitled to water service per the moratorium policy and each developed property that does not currently use water were to consume the typical volume of water used by other properties in the same classification. This report helps the District to understand the volume of water that must be held in reserve to ensure that when a property entitled to water service is developed in the future, that water will be available. This information is critical for the District’s long-term planning and to ensure that water withdrawals from St. Mary and Maxwell Lake do not jeopardize the long-term sustainability of those precious water resources.
